What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities
- Participate in 24 months of rotational placements across key technical domains, including Cloud Architecture, Network Engineering, Software Development, and Data Analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable cloud-native applications and microservices using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, ensuring our infrastructure supports evolving market demands.
- Utilise advanced data analytics and visualisation tools, such as Python, SQL, and Tableau, to identify network performance trends and drive operational efficiency.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of next-generation 5G network components, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and security compliance.
- Contribute to internal innovation sprints, proposing creative technical solutions to legacy system bottlenecks.
- Manage project documentation and sprint backlogs within Jira, ensuring transparency and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility
- Degree disciplines accepted: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM subjects (candidates from non-STEM backgrounds with a demonstrable interest in technology are encouraged to apply).
- Minimum academic requirement: A 2:1 degree (or equivalent predicted) in any discipline.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable, technical steps.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit with experience working in teams, whether through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
- A genuine passion for digital transformation, cloud computing, or large-scale telecommunications engineering.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the programme; visa sponsorship is available for successful international candidates under the Graduate Route or Tier 2 Skilled Worker framework where applicable.
Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship
Your development is structured through our comprehensive 24-month rotational model, which allows you to explore different facets of our technology division. You will rotate every six months, gaining hands-on exposure to network operations, digital product management, and strategic infrastructure planning. This variety ensures you graduate with a well-rounded understanding of how complex, high-traffic systems function at scale.
Beyond technical rotations, you will be enrolled in our 'Future Leaders' training track. This includes support for industry-recognised certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA, or Prince2, depending on your chosen career path. Each graduate is paired with a dedicated 'buddy' from the previous year’s cohort and a senior mentor from our leadership team. This dual-support structure provides both the operational guidance needed to navigate your daily tasks and the high-level professional coaching required to advance your career long-term.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits Package
- Competitive base salary of £35,000 per annum, with reviews at 12 and 24 months.
