Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship
Our structured 24-month programme is designed to transform high-potential graduates into industry leaders through a blend of classroom-based learning and hands-on rotational placements. During your rotations, you will have the opportunity to spend 6 months in different desks, gaining a holistic view of our market operations. This is supported by comprehensive training modules that focus on financial products, technical market analysis, and the regulatory environment of the UK financial sector. We are fully committed to your professional development and provide full funding and study leave for recognised qualifications such as the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or professional accreditation in Risk Management.
Beyond technical training, we place a heavy emphasis on personal development and integration. Every graduate is paired with a dedicated 'buddy'—a former graduate who can offer informal guidance—as well as a senior mentor from the Managing Director or Director level. This mentoring relationship is specifically designed to navigate your career trajectory, expand your professional network within the bank, and provide strategic advice on long-term career growth within HSBC’s global network.
