About the Company & Graduate Programme

BP is at the forefront of the global energy transition, pivoting from an international oil company to an integrated energy company. With our primary trading hub located in the heart of London, we manage complex energy portfolios that span renewables, hydrogen, biofuels, and traditional energy assets. Our culture is built on the pillars of safety, respect, and excellence, fostering an environment where innovation is not just encouraged but expected. We are committed to solving the dual challenge: providing the energy the world needs today while simultaneously reinventing the energy system for the future.

Our graduate intake is pivotal to this transformation. We seek forward-thinking individuals who are eager to challenge the status quo and apply analytical rigor to global market problems. As a graduate within this scheme, you will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, contributing directly to our net-zero ambitions. You will be immersed in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where your contributions are highly visible and essential to our operational success across Europe and beyond.

  • Utilize Python, SQL, and PowerBI to develop predictive models that inform senior-level trading decisions.
  • Engage with front-office traders and risk managers to monitor live positions and market fluctuations.
  • Support the integration of renewable assets into existing supply chains, analyzing efficiency and grid connectivity data.
  • Present project findings to senior stakeholders, translating complex data sets into actionable business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence in commodity clearing.
