Join GSK's 24-month Digital & Analytics Future Leaders Programme. Build high-impact solutions in a global biopharma environment with full mentorship, professional qualification support, and a starting salary of up to £38,000.

About the Company & Graduate Programme

GSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together. With a massive footprint across the UK—including world-class R&D hubs in Stevenage and global headquarters in London—we are at the forefront of the healthcare revolution. Our focus on immunology, human genetics, and advanced technologies is changing the lives of millions.

Our Future Leaders Programme is a prestigious 24-month structured scheme designed to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders. We are seeking ambitious graduates who want to bridge the gap between complex pharmaceutical challenges and cutting-edge digital solutions. This intake is pivotal as we accelerate our 'Tech-Forward' strategy to optimize drug discovery pipelines and global supply chain resilience. You will be joining an inclusive environment where innovation is embedded in our culture, and your contributions directly impact patient outcomes worldwide.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate through 3-4 distinct business units, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Digital Transformation.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities to improve clinical trial efficiency.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to build scalable data pipelines that support global medical research.
  • Develop and implement predictive analytics models to streamline supply chain logistics and manufacturing output.
  • Participate in cross-functional agile squads to deliver high-impact digital products for our internal research teams.
  • Manage project documentation and translate complex technical requirements into actionable business insights.
  • Engage with external technology partners and vendors to drive the adoption of new digital health tools.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership teams during quarterly business reviews.

Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in STEM (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or a highly quantitative Business degree.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for using data to solve real-world healthcare challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies rapidly.
  • Right to work in the UK without the need for GSK-sponsored work permits (or eligibility under the Graduate Route visa).
  • Commitment to our company values: Patient-focus, Transparency, Respect, and Integrity.

Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship

Your 24-month journey is divided into rotational placements, ensuring you gain a 360-degree view of how technology powers a multi-billion pound biopharma organization. Whether you are working in Digital Health or Manufacturing Operations, you will have the opportunity to take on real responsibilities from day one, rather than just shadowing.

We provide extensive support, including a dedicated 'Buddy' from previous cohorts and a Senior Mentor who will guide your long-term career trajectory. You will also have access to our internal GSK Learning Academy, with funding provided for relevant professional certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Professional Data Engineer, or PRINCE2 project management qualifications.
