What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities
- Participate in three distinct 8-month rotations across our core business units: Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Network Engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement scalable solutions within our hybrid-cloud environments.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to present data-driven insights that inform our digital transformation roadmap.
- Utilise industry-standard tools including Python, SQL, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, and Agile project management methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Lead on small-to-medium project workstreams, taking ownership of deliverables from the conceptual design phase through to operational deployment.
- Analyse complex network performance datasets to identify optimisation opportunities that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with our R&D divisions to trial and integrate proof-of-concept technologies into live BT infrastructure.
Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science) or Business/Economics with a strong technical interest.
- Minimum predicted or achieved grade of 2:1 (or international equivalent) in your degree studies.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and propose logical, actionable solutions.
- Demonstrable passion for technology and its ability to solve real-world problems on a national scale.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
- A strong team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is willing to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements.
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme (we provide comprehensive support for Graduate Route visa holders).

Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship
Our 24-month programme is structured to give you a 360-degree view of how a FTSE-listed telecommunications company functions. You will rotate through business units that align with both your career aspirations and the strategic needs of the business, ensuring you gain a diverse skill set. Alongside practical on-the-job training, we provide a robust support framework, including a dedicated buddy from the previous year’s cohort and a senior leader acting as your personal mentor to guide your long-term career trajectory.
Professional development is non-negotiable at BT. We provide full funding and study support for industry-recognised certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, or CIMA/ACCA for those in commercial-facing roles. - Competitive base salary of £36,000 per annum, with reviews based on rotation milestones.

Recruitment Stages & How to Apply
