What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities
- Participate in four distinct 6-month rotational placements across Digital Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Systems Architecture teams.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital products that enhance engine performance monitoring and maintenance cycles.
- Utilise advanced cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, to build scalable solutions that process massive datasets from global flight operations.
- Engage in end-to-end project delivery, from requirement gathering and agile sprint planning to technical execution and deployment.
- Drive process optimisation by implementing automation scripts and machine learning models to reduce operational inefficiencies in manufacturing workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure digital transformation initiatives remain compliant with international safety and security standards.
- Actively participate in 'Innovation Sprints,' a dedicated time-block for graduates to prototype breakthrough ideas with the potential to influence real-world engine design.
Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in STEM disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Analytics.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate abstract technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, with a penchant for troubleshooting complex systems under pressure.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship
Your 24-month journey is structured to build a rounded professional profile. Through a series of bespoke rotations, you will rotate across core business functions, ensuring you gain both breadth and depth in your understanding of the Rolls-Royce ecosystem. We provide a tailored roadmap that aligns with your specific career interests, whether you aim to move into technical leadership or complex programme management.
Support is the cornerstone of our development philosophy. Every graduate is paired with a dedicated 'buddy'—a former graduate who can guide you through your first months—and a senior mentor who provides strategic career coaching. Furthermore, you will receive full financial and study support for formal professional qualifications (e.g., CEng, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications), ensuring that your credentials are as robust as your practical experience.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits Package
- Competitive base salary of £36,500 per annum, with annual inflation-linked reviews.
