About the Company & Graduate Programme

Unilever is a global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) powerhouse whose products are used by 3.4 billion people every day in over 190 countries. In the UK, our headquarters at 100 Victoria Embankment, London, serves as a hub of innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation for household brands such as Dove, Ben & Jerry's, Persil, and Hellmann's. Driven by our mission to make sustainable living commonplace, we combine cutting-edge technology with supply chain excellence to dramatically reduce our environmental footprint while increasing business resilience.

Our Future Leaders Graduate Programme in Supply Chain & Sustainable Technology is pivotal to our global strategy. As consumer demands shift toward sustainable product lifecycles and transparent supply networks, our graduate intake powers the digital transformation of our European operations. You will join a forward-thinking community of innovators, working directly on real-world challenges that redefine how global supply chains operate sustainably.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze global supply chain network datasets using Python, Power BI, and SAP to identify operational bottlenecks and carbon emission hotspots.
  • Drive the integration of sustainable technologies and digital twin modeling to optimize warehouse logistics, route planning, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, Sustainable Sourcing, and Procurement to implement low-carbon packaging and circular economy initiatives.
  • Lead hands-on operational continuous improvement projects using Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodologies across our UK distribution networks.
  • Evaluate emerging clean-tech supplier innovations to decarbonize Scope 3 emissions across our direct end-to-end supply chain.
  • Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations directly to senior supply chain leadership and brand directors.
  • Work with international logistics hubs to establish automated real-time tracking systems and demand-forecasting predictive algorithms.

Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility

  • Achieved or predicted a minimum 2:1 degree in STEM (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics), Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving, digital tools, and sustainable technology innovations.
  • Outstanding team player capability with proven leadership capabilities demonstrated through university, work, or extracurricular achievements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technological metrics to commercial stakeholders.
  • High resilience, adaptability, and curiosity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand corporate environment.
  • Candidates requiring visa support are welcome; we sponsor Graduate Route Visas and Skilled Worker Visas subject to meeting UK Home Office criteria.

Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship

This 24-month structured graduate programme is designed to accelerate your growth into a future leadership role. You will undertake three 8-month rotations spanning Sourcing, Digital Logistics, and Customer Operations, giving you comprehensive exposure to our global end-to-end supply chain. Throughout the scheme, you will be supported in pursuing formal professional qualifications, such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification, fully funded by Unilever.

From day one, you will be paired with a dedicated senior director mentor to guide your strategic career path, alongside a peer buddy from a previous intake to assist with your day-to-day transition into corporate life. Comprehensive leadership workshops, technical training bootcamps, and executive networking sessions ensure that by the conclusion of the scheme, you will be equipped to take on a managerial position within our global operations.
