About the Company & Graduate Programme

PwC UK is a powerhouse of professional services, sitting at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge technology. With a footprint that spans the entire UK, we help the world’s largest organisations navigate complex digital landscapes, from cloud migration and cyber security to AI-driven process automation. Our culture is one of relentless innovation and inclusion, where we believe that diverse perspectives are the fuel for solving the most important problems facing society today. By joining us, you are entering an environment that prioritises your growth, providing you with the tools to redefine the status quo.

Our Technology Consulting graduate intake is pivotal to our growth strategy. As businesses undergo unprecedented digital shifts, we require bright, agile minds capable of translating complex technological solutions into business value. This programme is not just a job; it is a two-year investment in your future. You will be embedded within high-performing teams, working alongside industry experts to deliver transformative projects for clients across sectors including Financial Services, Government, and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications. You will be challenged to think critically and act decisively, becoming a cornerstone of our technological delivery capabilities.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) for FTSE 100 clients.
  • Assist in the delivery of cyber security risk assessments, penetration testing reports, and long-term security strategy roadmaps.
  • Utilise modern data visualisation and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to translate raw client data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Support the full lifecycle of project delivery, from initial requirement gathering and stakeholder workshops to final system integration and testing.
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders, providing clear updates on project milestones, risk management, and budgetary performance.
  • Develop and automate business processes using low-code/no-code platforms to increase client operational efficiency.
  • Participate in internal innovation hubs, contributing to the development of our firm’s proprietary digital accelerators and intellectual property.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.

Who We Are Looking For & Candidate Eligibility

  • We welcome applications from all degree disciplines (STEM, Humanities, Business, or Social Sciences) provided you possess a genuine passion for technology.
  • A minimum predicted or achieved 2:1 degree classification in any subject area is required.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable components.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively in diverse, fast-paced team environments.
  • Curiosity and a 'growth mindset', showing a proactive approach to learning new software and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK without restriction, as we offer full visa sponsorship for international graduates under the Skilled Worker route.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to our core values, including integrity, working together, and acting with care.

Graduate Training, Rotations & Mentorship

Your 24-month journey is structured to ensure breadth and depth of experience. You will complete multiple rotational placements, typically lasting six months each, allowing you to gain exposure to different specialisms such as Cloud Architecture, Cyber Security, Digital Strategy, and Data Analytics. This variety ensures that you understand the firm’s interconnected nature and helps you identify where your true strengths and passions lie. Throughout this period, we provide a robust support network, pairing you with a dedicated 'buddy'—a former graduate who can offer informal advice—and a senior mentor who will guide your long-term career trajectory.

Beyond rotational experience, formal training is central to our programme. You will be fully supported in pursuing internationally recognised professional qualifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, or CIMA/ACCA depending on your chosen path. We provide dedicated study leave and cover all examination costs. Our internal 'Digital Academy' provides continuous upskilling workshops, ensuring you remain at the forefront of emerging technologies like Generative AI and Quantum Computing, positioning you for a successful career at the firm long after your graduate scheme concludes.

Salary, Bonus & Benefits Package

  • Competitive starting base salary between £34,000 and £36,000 per annum, subject to annual performance reviews.
  • Eligibility for our annual performance-based discretionary bonus scheme.
  • Generous company pension scheme with an employer matching contribution of up to 10%.
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus the option to purchase additional days through our flexible benefits portal.
  • Private medical insurance and a comprehensive wellbeing package, including 24/7 access to mental health support.
  • Hybrid working allowance to support your home office setup, alongside travel-to-client reimbursement.
